Challenge. Inspire. Prepare.
The mission of the Plymouth Public Schools is to Challenge, Inspire and Prepare all students for success in an ever-changing and complex world.
The application for Plymouth Public School’s Preschool will open on February 6th. This application should be used for children who have not previously been enrolled in our preschool program.
The program is for 3 and 4-year-olds (birth years 2019-2020) and is located at Plymouth Center School. Any child regardless of racial, ethnic, and economic status, who is 3-4 years of age and resides in the Town of Plymouth is eligible for the program based on the preschool screening process, class sizes, and demographics of each class. We will no longer operate on a lottery system to build our incoming preschool classes.
Next year we will be welcoming our graduating class of 2038!
All fields are required when completing the application and please be sure to wait until you see a screen that states “your response has been recorded” before leaving the website.
PCS had its first Pep Rally for Reading to kick off Superstar Readers, our winter reading program. Joe Shandrowski, author of Huga Tuga in the Seashell Mystery, came to PCS to share his book with our students. He engaged them through conversation and movement, encouraging them to use their imaginations. He inspired our students to be readers, authors, and illustrators! Thank you to our amazing PTA for sponsoring this wonderful experience!
PCS PreK through 2nd grade had their second Bucket Filler assembly of the year! This program is based on the idea of filling other people’s buckets while filling their own by treating people kindly and not being a “bucket dipper” by taking from someone’s bucket by putting them down or making others feel bad. Students were nominated by teachers throughout the building for being kind, modeling respect, and having empathy towards others.
