Read Across America Week was a wonderful opportunity for our students to continue the celebration of reading!  Students participated in dress up days such as Fox in Sox Day where they wore crazy socks to Green Eggs in Ham Day where they wore green.  On Dr. Seuss's birthday, March 2nd, students celebrated Cat in the Hat Day by wearing silly hats and crazy hair and also welcomed many different readers to their classroom, ranging from State Troopers to retired teachers to parents to members of the Plymouth Historical Society.  It was a fun filled week and we greatly appreciate all of our readers for spending time with us and sharing their favorite stories!

PCS PreK through 2nd grade had our February Bucket Filler assembly!  This program is based on the idea of filling other people’s buckets while filling their own by treating people kindly and not being a “bucket dipper” by taking from someone’s bucket by putting them down or making others feel bad.  Students were nominated by teachers throughout the building for being kind, modeling respect, and having empathy towards others.
